Essential Oils That Are An Aphrodisiac

All of these essential oils are well known for their aphrodisiac qualities. How you use them is up to you. You can use an essential oil diffuser, add the oils to handmade candles or apply them to your body. Make sure you use a carrier oil as all of these oils need to be diluted before you add them to the skin. Take special care with the Cinnamon and Ginger oils as both of these give a burning/warming feeling. I mean you don’t want that in the wrong place, right? Make sure you test this oils on your “upper skin” before putting it anywhere near your softer more sensitive “bottom skin”.

Sandalwood
Sandalwood offers a rich, warm, and woody aroma that smells exotic.

Ylang Ylang
Ylang Ylang is one of my favorite oils and it has a strong floral scent, it increases sexual desire for both sexes.  This is one of the most popular essential oil aphrodisiacs.

Cinnamon
Cinnamon is a warming oil as in it physically warms the skin. The scent is sweet and spicy. It increases circulation and blood flow.

Rose
This essential oil has always represented love. When we think of roses we always think of love and it’s not just because of all that marketing. Rose oil is a beautiful scent that is well known for its aphrodisiac properties. It enhances self-esteem and confidence.

Patchouli
Patchouli, in my opinion, is a love/hate oil. You either love the scent of hate it. Its scent is strong and a powerful aphrodisiac that helps balance the mood, hormones and libido.

Ginger
Ginger is a sweet, warm oil that has a very strong scent, very different from how you imagine it smells.  It increases mental clarity in both men and woman and helps stimulate the senses.

Jasmine
Jasmine enhances mood and energy. This essential oil is particularly good for women and has an exotic aroma to it.
