CRAFT STORAGE IDEAS & ORGANIZING TIPS

If you are a DIY’er, chances are pretty good you’re a crafter too. It doesn’t take many craft supplies before your home can feel cluttered and supplies are lost. I know having a small home can make it even worse…especially if you can’t have an entire room devoted to your crafts. I know I can’t! I personally use the bin system, with clear bins on shelving. (In my laundry room, BTW!) But after checking out these clever and cool craft storage ideas, I know some changes are a comin’! Corral some of your craft clutter, with these great tips!

CRAFT STORAGE TABLES

From ‘Handmade Charlotte‘, try making this DIY craft storage table for less than $50! This craft table gives you both storage and a working surface. They used this to make a kids craft center, but there is no reason this can’t work for us grown ups too!

This Ikea hack DIY table could work for any small space where you need a work table. We love these mint green hairpin legs that give it such a fresh feel, perfect for a crafting, creative space. From ‘Style Me Pretty Living‘, remember you could add a pegboard storage unit on the wall above it.

Speaking of a pegboard craft organizer to go above a craft table, here’s one now! From ‘Craving Some Creativity‘, this easy craft storage idea can be used for just about any craft item you own!

CRAFT STORAGE FURNITURE

Also from ‘Craving Some Creativity‘, check out  this awesome craft storage wall unit! This is a full tutorial, and it’s, well, awesome! Oh, and they built this in one evening. Yep.

These craft storage shelves hold paint on this side, but if you wheel it around, there is more hidden storage in the back! Perfect for a small space, and it has a really shallow profile too. This genius DIY craft storage idea is from Beckie at ‘Infarrantly Creative‘. Ok, you have to go check out her other craft room ideas!

A Pumpkin and a Princess‘ uses store bought craft organizers, and stacks them and combines them to make perfect custom storage. She even tells you which units work for her, and where to find them.

A Beautiful Mess‘ organizes all their craft supplies with this DIY pegboard project. We love how they framed it to make it look more like art than a utilitarian way to store crafts!

CRAFT STORAGE CONTAINERS

Beth from ‘Unskinny Boppy‘ took an unused attic space and turned it into a gorgeous craft space. These are just some of the craft storage containers she put together! Check out all her great craft organization ideas!

Repeat Crafter Me‘ uses craft store jars to store craft supplies! Not only is this pretty, it’s a perfect way to keep all those little things from getting away from you. Worse yet, from laying in the bottom of a basket or box somewhere.

Michelle Wooderson‘ used this 3 tier meal stand as perfect craft storage containers! Check out her other great craft storage ideas!

I Heart Organizing‘ used a towel bar and “S” hooks to create easy craft storage. These kinda speak for themselves, don’t they?

Another super simple craft storage container, jars! Clear jars let you see everything at a glance. Love this! From ‘Consumer Crafts‘.
